Pasghetti will be located at 229 62nd Avenue North, the former home of Green Light Sushi Bar, in the EDgemoor neighborhood of St. Pete

Meatball lovers, rejoice! Pasghetti, a new fast-casual Italian-inspired restaurant, is making its way to St. Pete this spring with a focus on two key menu items – Spaghetti & Meatballs and Meatball Subs.

Moving into the former Green Light Sushi Bar location at 229 62nd Avenue North, Pasghetti aims to provide quality over quantity, offering a limited menu with a spotlight on the “most delicious meatballs and red sauce to come to St. Pete.” The menu will also include salads, gelato, and buttery garlic bread.

Pasghetti will specialize in Spaghetti & Meatballs and Meatball Subs. Owner Ken Bell has been perfecting the red sauce recipe for more than 10 years

Owners Ken and Olivia Bell are bringing Pasghetti to St. Pete after relocating from Denver and New Orleans, following a cross-country road trip that led them to fall in love with southwest Florida. After more than 10 years of testing and perfecting the recipe for their original red sauce, the Bell’s felt it was time to share it with the world and better yet, bring it to St. Pete.

Joshua Sims of Vector Realty assisted the Bell’s in finding the perfect space for Pasghetti in the Edgemoor neighborhood of St. Pete.

“Everything is made in house with the highest quality ingredients. I’ve been perfecting this traditional recipe for years! The meat sauce is pure Dean Martin, and the meatballs are all Frank Sinatra,” shared Ken Bell. “The meatballs are tender and juicy without extra binders or bready fillers. We use a special seasoning blend, freshly cut herbs, and a 50/50 blend of fresh pork and beef.”

To pair with Pasghetti’s signature red sauce, sip on one of rotating beers or one of two options of wine, including a flavorful red blend and a light white wine, curated to satisfy even the most discerning palate without the high-end prices.

Choose to dine in and enjoy the location’s ample indoor or outdoor seating options, pick up your order, or have it delivered hot and fresh right to your door.

Along with serving up delicious meatballs and red sauce, Pasghetti wants to “find people where they are,” incorporating joy and fun into their mission statement, from a cultural standpoint for both customers and employees.

“Looking to the future, we envision creating a multi-store operation with a family of employees. We’re seeking to develop leaders whose experience and attitude align with the values of our business.” stated Bell. “We want folks to feel at home and like they’re part of a community. We’re just so excited to be back in the South where everybody is so nice. It’s liberating to be in a place where you can have some gelato, a plate of spaghetti & meatballs, or a glass or two of wine with friends.”

Pasghetti is set to open at 229 62nd Avenue North in late spring 2022.
