Nordic Spa Klub, a cold plunge and sauna studio, to open in St. Pete's Warehouse Arts District
A Scandinavian-inspired cold plunge and sauna social club is coming to St. Pete's Warehouse Arts District.
Nordic Spa Klub, “where ancient Nordic rituals meet modern-day connection,” has signed a lease to occupy 2,500 square feet in a newly constructed building at 502 28th Street South.
The Nordic Spa Klub will feature cold plunge pools, infrared saunas with red light therapy, a lounge area, a boutique, and a cafe serving healthy treats.
Multiple health studies found that cold plunges can help muscles recover, reduce inflammation, and boost metabolism and energy.
“In Scandinavia, it’s a normal practice to jump in the ocean and sauna when you wake up, on your lunch break, or after a long day to reconnect with yourself and nature,” the website reads.
“We are excited to bring our tradition and culture to a space where people can enjoy and indulge in the thousand-year-old traditions of the beautiful Nordic countries.”
The Nordic Spa Klub will front the 5th Avenue South and 28th Street South intersection.
It's expected to open later this year.
Follow the cold plunge spa and social club on Facebook and Instagram for the opening announcement.
The 4,624-square-foot building is owned by Linda and Rossi Bonugli.
Jessica Dwyer of Dalton Wade Real Estate represents the property owner. She handled both sides of the lease transaction for Nordic Spa Klub.
There's 2,100 square feet of retail space remaining at the south end of the building.
