Pagoda Asian Grill by P.F. Chang's to open in west St. Pete this week

A new fast casual dining concept by P.F. Chang’s, Pagoda Asian Grill, will open its first Florida location this week in west St. Petersburg.
Located at 1550 66th Street North, the new Asian restaurant is set to open on January 15th in the Shoppes at the Royale Plaza. The space was formerly home to barbecue restaurant Rib City, which closed in 2019 after 40 years of operation.
The opening marks a significant milestone for the company that's continuing to expand its footprint across the country.

Since 2022, St. Pete residents have expected the 4,000-square-foot space to house a new P.F. Chang's concept, when it was revealed that P.F. Chang's was planning to open another quick service restaurant, P.F. Chang’s To Go, at this location.
However, the company pivoted and developed a new brand called Pagoda Asian Grill. The St. Pete location will be the company’s third in the country. The first location opened last year in Central Valley, NY which was followed up by a location in McKinney, TX.
According to P.F. Chang’s, Pagoda Asian Grill aims to deliver an “approachable and adventurous, featuring freshly prepared dishes made to order. With a focus on quality, speed, and vibrant atmosphere, Pagoda delivers a dining experience that’s perfect for today’s on-the-go lifestyle.”

Customers can select a bowl base of rice, lo mein, or vegetables and top it with Siracha chicken, marinated beef or chicken, bulgogi beef or roasted veggies.
The build-your-own bowls and wraps offer over 1 billion possible combinations of fresh proteins, vegetables, sauces, and toppings such as charred cauliflower and corn, Asian kimchi, baby bok choy, onions, and pineapple.
The sauces vary from sweet to spicy like the Thai peanut sauce and teriyaki to Korean barbeque and black pepper sauce.
To celebrate the new store, Pagoda will host a grand opening event on February 1st. The event will feature exclusive menu tastings, giveaways, and more.
Diners can enjoy the customer bowls and wraps before then when the restaurant opens to the public on January 15th from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
