Greystar Real Estate Partners is putting the finishing touches on an apartment community at the corner of Gandy Boulevard and 28th Street in north St. Pete.
Earlier this month, the first residents started moving into Marlowe Gateway located at 2790 Grand Avenue. The new apartment complex features 412 apartments – with its first units starting at $1,940 per month. The garden-style complex consists of nine apartment buildings offering a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts that range from 765 to 1,279 square feet.
As part of a development agreement approved in October 2021, 20% of the units in the development will be income-restricted workforce housing for those making under 120% of the area median income (AMI).

In this article we are taking a look at: Arya, Lake Maggiore Apartments, Marina Club Apartments, Marlowe Gateway, and Terraces at 87th.
These projects include four apartment developments and one townhome community. The four apartment developments are located in neighborhoods outside of downtown St. Petersburg and will bring over 1,500 new apartments to St. Petersburg once completed in 2024.
Commercial leasing activity is picking up at the Gateway Logistics Center, a 61-acre industrial development under construction at the northeast corner of 28th Street North and Gandy Boulevard.
The Gateway Logistics Center is part of a 93-acre development that will also include a 425-unit, 18-acre apartment complex, of which 20%, or 85 units, will be income-restricted workforce housing for residents who earn less than 120% of the area median income (AMI).
St. Pete’s Development Review Commission unanimously approved a site plan to construct a 425-unit apartment development at the northeast corner of 28th Street and Gandy Boulevard in the Gateway area.
The multifamily project is located on nearly 18 acres of a 93-acre site that is owned by Jabil, Inc., a global manufacturing services company, who once envisioned a massive headquarters campus on the site.
The Gateway Logistics Center, an industrial complex in St. Petersburg’s Gateway area, is moving forward into the second construction phase thanks to funding from Pinellas County.
Greystar Development East LLC, a subsidiary of Greystar Real Estate Partners, is developing the 61-acre Class A industrial center at 2690 Gateway Centre Parkway on the northeast corner of 28th Street North and Gandy Boulevard.
The commercial project is part of a 93-acre development on a site formerly owned by Jabil Inc., a global manufacturing services company, that once envisioned a new headquarters campus on the property.
