Parents of infants can now shop local for their new bundles of joy at Oh Baby! St. Pete, a baby boutique, which opened over the weekend at 6101 4th Street North.
According to co-owners Kayla Lancioni and Genesis Pacheco, the 1,600-square-foot Oh Baby! St. Pete is “a family-owned baby boutique for the modern-day mama.”
They estimate that about 85 percent of the products they stock are organic.

“We have higher-quality, better-quality clothes,” Lancioni said in an interview with St. Pete Rising. “And not just clothes, but toys and accessories. We’re catering to ages two and under, so we have a lot more variety because we’re sticking to a smaller age group.”
Oh Baby! St. Pete carries clothes made by popular brands such as Quincy Mae and Jamie Kay, as well as Freshly Picked, which makes baby shoes and diaper bags.
“I would say we’re comparable to, like, the baby section at Nordstrom,” Lancioni said. “The main brands we’re carrying aren’t sold on Amazon, and it’s not something you’ll see at Target.”
Oh Baby! St. Pete will likely hold some special events to bring in customers, the co-owners said, such as holiday season photo sessions for parents and their babies.
“When it comes to the holidays, I know we want to do something,” Pacheco said. “And then other events, we just haven’t come up with any specific ones yet. We’re trying to get settled first, but I’m sure we’ll have plenty.”
Lancioni and Pacheco, who both grew up in St. Pete and are sisters-in-law, says the store is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and by appointment only on Sundays. They plan to add an e-commerce website, as well, for busy parents who would rather shop online.

“We’re big on family time, but if someone needs a last-minute gift, because we both live right near here, we’ll open on Sunday,” Lancioni said, adding that she is the mother of a 6-year-old, with her second child due in November, while Pacheco is a mother of four ranging in age from 1 to 13.
Be sure to stop by Oh Baby! St. Pete the next time you are in need of clothing or accessories for your kiddos under two.
