A colorful new floral shop has taken root in St. Petersburg’s Euclid Heights neighborhood, blending creativity, community, and craftsmanship under one roof.
Located at 1506 54th Avenue North, the freshly opened space brings together two local floral powerhouses, Arms of Persephone and The Roaming Petal, offering everything from handcrafted bouquets to immersive floral workshops.
The collaboration marks the first time the two longtime florists, Regan Smith of Arms of Persephone and Erica Holland of The Roaming Petal, have shared a physical space.
Though they’ve referred clients to one another for years, their new studio merges retail, workshops, and events into a single destination for flower lovers across Tampa Bay.

“We both have such similar artsy backgrounds and share similar values for florals and the people we work for,” said Smith, recalling their first meeting years ago at Intermezzo Coffee & Cocktails, where Holland was hosting her debut floral event.
“Together, we are building different experiences whether people are coming in to learn how to make arrangements or need to order flowers for a wedding.”
The 2,200-square-foot shop, located in the Hillside Center retail strip owned by former City Council member Robert Blackmon, features an open-concept layout with a drive-thru window, lush garden, and a dedicated workshop area.
The shop softly opened on October 15, with a grand opening celebration planned for November 4, featuring local vendors, music, floral candle making, and food and drinks.

Arms of Persephone, previously based in Pinellas Park, specializes in floral arrangements for weddings and events, while The Roaming Petal is known for its mobile flower cart and hands-on floral design classes around Tampa Bay.
Holland, who runs her business with five assistants, said the move offers both a room to grow and a sense of home.
“We’ve built something great for the community, but now we can really have our own home [away from our home],” she said.
Visitors will find the shop’s garden courtyard blooming with more than 100 seasonal stems, many of which are clipped for daily arrangements. Guests are encouraged to “bring a picnic and linger in the garden.”
Both florists emphasize working with local farms like Mindful Blooms Farm in Myakka City, sourcing in-season and domestically grown flowers whenever possible.
The shop also sells flowerpots, incense, candles, cards, and other products | st. pete rising
Arms of Persephone is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., while Holland hosts workshops on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
This October, the shop is embracing spooky season with a “Blossom & Broomsticks” event, where guests can craft floral brooms and enjoy a Hocus Pocus watch party.
