10-unit townhome development proposed for Old Southeast in St. Petersburg
/Plans have been announced for a new townhome community on 4th Street South in St. Petersburg’s Old Southeast neighborhood.
Named 4th Street Gardens, the 10-unit townhome community is being proposed by IDYL Development, which previously proposed a 33-unit apartment building in downtown St. Pete.
4th Street Gardens will be located at 2100 4th Street South and will consist of two five-unit buildings divided by an interior motor court. Each four-story residence will be 2,280 square feet with three bedrooms.
“I’m very excited to bring a little Brooklyn flare to the St. Pete marketplace,”says Jacki Fabrizio of Smith & Associates Real Estate, who is marketing the project. “I had the pleasure of meeting the guys of IDYL Development in a brush of fate and it’s been harmonious bringing this project to life.”
The development showcases the trend of new development in south St. Petersburg.
“We are most excited to start the trend of more South St. Pete living and with the proximity to Downtown St. Pete, it’s a pretty exceptional location.”
In addition to 4th Street Gardens, other developments in the works for 4th Street South include the Lake Maggiore Apartments, Coquina Key Plaza redevelopment, and the ARK Innovation Center. Other projects are also planned.
At 4th Street Gardens, the first floor will contain a private two-car garage and guest bedroom and bathroom. The second floor will have the primary entertaining spaces including a kitchen with stainless steel appliances and waterfall quartz countertops along with a living area and powder room.
The third floor features the primary bedroom and another guest room along with two bathrooms. The rooftop terrace will feature nearly 1,000 square feet of space with artificial turf and views of Bartlett Park.
Construction is expected to begin early next year with completion in late 2024.
Pre-construction pricing for the 4th Street Gardens townhomes begins at $799,000.
