Rose's Coffee Bar to debut inside the upcoming Moxy Hotel in the EDGE District
/With new options popping up everywhere from the Central Arts District to South St. Pete, the Sunshine City’s coffee culture is thriving.
In early 2024, a new coffee shop will join the EDGE District. Rose’s Coffee Bar will be located on the ground floor of the Moxy Hotel by Marriott, which is currently under construction at 1234 Central Avenue. The new hotel will also include a rooftop bar with a 1960s retro vibe, Sparrow, when it debuts next year.
The boutique hotel will be part of the 1.6-acre Edge Collective being brought to life by Wurzak Hotel Group, PTM Partners and DoveHill Capital Management. Sarasota-based Kellogg & Kimsey is the general contractor and St. Pete-based Storyn Studio is the architect.
The only other location of Rose’s is in Fort Lauderdale at The Dalmar Hotel, which was also developed by Wurzak Hotel Group.
Rose's will offer all of your favorite espresso-based beverages, such as lattes and cappuccinos, along with nitro coffee, cold brew, and drip coffee.
Like the Fort Lauderdale outpost of Rose's, the St. Pete location will use coffee beans from Philadelphia-based La Colombe Coffee Roasters.
In addition to coffee, Rose's will offer breakfast, lunch, snacks, and smoothies throughout the day.
The breakfast menu includes selections such as a Ham & Cheese Quiche, and a Sausage & Egg White English Muffin, in addition to vegetarian-friendly options like a Vegetarian Quiche and an Egg & Impossible Sausage English Muffin.
Also available for breakfast are a variety of toasts, like Rose's Avocado Toast with avocado mash, pickled red onions, micro greens, and lemon zest. The Almond Sweet Toast is almond butter, roasted almonds, cocoa nibs, Maldon salt, and bananas.
For lunch, grab the Chicken Chipotle Sandwich with grilled chicken, peppers, onions, cheddar cheese, chipotle mayo on ciabatta bread. A Greek Salad and Caprese Salad are also offered.
Five smoothies are available, such as the Sunshine with mango, peach, ginger, banana, carrot, and orange juice. If you're in need of a jolt, the Wake Up Call contains espresso, honey, peanut butter, cocoa nibs, banana, and almond milk.
Rose’s Coffee Bar is expected make an early 2024 debut inside the Moxy Hotel at 1234 Central Avenue in the EDGE District.
