A national golf store chain is teeing up a sprawling new 29,000-square-foot location in St. Pete’s Tyrone area.
PGA Tour Superstore is opening at 2020 66th Street North in the Crosswinds Shopping Center, taking over the former Bealls location that closed a few weeks ago.
While an official opening date has not been announced, the store is expected to bring a state-of-the-art golf retail experience to the area.
The company plans to open eight new stores each year, targeting both new and existing markets. Florida’s strong golf community makes it a strategic focus for growth, and the St. Pete location represents the latest step in that expansion.

The new St. Pete location will offer a wide range of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories. Shoppers can enjoy interactive features including indoor putting greens, swing simulators, and practice bays. The store will also provide services such as custom club fitting, lessons from certified instructors, and on-site club repairs—serving golfers of all experience levels.
PGA Tour Superstore currently has 11 locations in Florida, including stores in Tampa and Sarasota.
The Crosswinds Shopping Center, where the new store is located, was recently acquired for $20.5 million by Georgia-based Crim & Associates and Wallace Properties. The center is anchored by Marshalls, Michaels, and Havertys.
