A new wine bar has opened inside the Morean Center for Clay, taking over the space previously occupied by Lolita’s Wine Market, which relocated back to its original 18th Street location last summer.

Called Delicious, the bar quietly debuted last week at 420 22nd Street South in the Warehouse Arts District.

The concept offers a more flexible and approachable way to explore wine, with an emphasis on sampling.

Guests can order 1.5-ounce “sips,” 3-ounce pours, or full 6-ounce glasses, with bottles also available.

The approach makes it easy to compare wines side by side and try a range of options without committing to a full glass.

“We wanted to create a space where the drink is the hero, but the atmosphere is entirely inclusive and alive,” said co-owner Joy Oswald.

The current menu is intentionally compact, featuring five white wines, four reds, a rosé, and a sparkling option.

Among the whites are lighter, crisp selections like the Echo Bay Sauvignon Blanc alongside fuller-bodied options such as the Unknown Author Chardonnay.

The red lineup includes the familiar Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon "Craftsman" and Outlier Pinot Noir.

A sparkling option and a rosé round out the list.

Glasses generally cost $8 to $14, with bottles priced between $20 and $40.

In addition to wine, the bar offers a small list of craft beers and ciders, along with a handful of zero-proof options, including canned cocktails and non-alcoholic beer.

Guests can also opt for curated flights, which rotate and are designed to highlight different styles or regions.

Staff-led tastings are also available for those interested in learning more about the wines being poured.

Inside, the space reflects its location within the Morean Center for Clay, with ceramic artwork created by in-house artists displayed throughout.

Seating is split between an indoor lounge and bar area, along with an expansive outdoor patio.

While the focus is on drinks, a small food menu is available.

Offerings include Chicago-style hot dogs and mini Philly cheesesteaks, along with dessert boxes from T & T Fantastic Treats designed to pair with wine.

Delicious also hosts a rotating selection of events. Weekly programming includes trivia nights, open mic sessions, live music featuring local performers, drag shows, and bingo nights.

"By blending educational tastings with events like drag shows and live music, we’re giving St. Pete a place to find their next favorite pour and their next favorite memory," said Aleka Oswald.

Delicious is currently open Monday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
