A new kind of doctor’s office has opened its doors in Historic Kenwood, offering a more personalized, relationship-based approach to primary care.
The practice brings concierge medicine, a model focused on prevention, accessibility, and longer visits, to a freshly renovated space at 2552 1st Avenue North in St. Pete.
The 3,700-square-foot clinic is the second location for Griffin Concierge Medical, a membership-based primary care practice founded by Dr. Radley Griffin in South Tampa in 2008.
Dr. Griffin founded his practice after working in emergency medicine and at a large primary care group in Manhattan, where he became frustrated by the rushed, transactional nature of traditional healthcare. He envisioned a slower, more thoughtful model where doctors could truly connect with their patients.

Now, after 17 years of prioritizing meaningful doctor-patient relationships and proactive care, the practice is expanding across the bay to meet growing demand for more personalized healthcare.
“We are thrilled to bring our unique approach to healthcare to the residents of St. Petersburg,” said Dr. Griffin. “Our new office will allow us to continue delivering the relationship-based care that our members expect, while also fostering a deeper connection with the community.”
Griffin’s model is built around a low physician-to-patient ratio, around 300 per doctor compared to several thousand in traditional practices. That ratio translates into longer appointments, same-day access, 24/7 support, and more time for doctors to focus on each patient's long-term goals.
Leading the new St. Pete office are two board-certified family medicine physicians: Dr. Gregory Baker M.D. and Dr. Timothy Nobles D.O.
Dr. Baker, who completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic, brings more than 20 years of experience and a commitment to patient-centered care to the role.
Dr. Nobles, who served as chief resident at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, specializes in personalized, high-quality preventive care.
