TikTok famous coffee company to open cafe in downtown St. Pete

A local mobile coffee truck that has garnered a large following through viral TikTok videos will open a new cafe in downtown St. Pete.
Next month, Bean Wandering will bring its popular canned-to-order iced coffee, in addition to a small food menu from The Crumb Factory, to the ground floor of the 12-story City Center office building.
City Center, located at 100 2nd Avenue South, was previously home to restaurant chain Nature's Table. Bean Wandering will replace Nature’s Table in a reconfigured space in the building’s lobby.
“This started as a hobby in June 2023 when we did our first pop-up event in front of my mom’s house in Tampa. I never thought I'd have a physical coffee shop and could afford a space in downtown St. Pete,” owner Hanna Rewerts said to St. Pete Rising.
Rewerts, who has a background in health care, and her wife, Kara, a commercial landscaper, invested $25,000 into the mobile coffee business.
The business quickly gained notoriety through TikTok reviews by influencers such as “There and Beck,” who posted a video in October of Bean Wandering’s coffee canned to order process, garnering over 2.4 million views.
One month later, a different video posted by TikTok user shelbya28, captured over 35,700 views.
“I'm so grateful for social media because it has helped my business become what it is today. Without word of mouth and people sharing our content, I would not be where I'm at without that,” she added.
This will be Bean Wandering’s second location. Earlier this year, Rewerts opened a coffee counter at Run and Play Kids Cafe on Central Avenue in St. Petersburg’s Central Oak Park neighborhood.
“We've been super blessed to work with Jessica at Run and Play Kids Cafe. Not long after opening, the management team at the City Center asked us to host a pop-up event for their office tenants,” Rewerts said, explaining that she later learned commercial real estate firm Feldman Equities was seeking a coffee vendor for the ground floor of their downtown office building.

The addition of Bean Wandering comes as the office building is undergoing a multi-million dollar facelift that will result in an updated atrium lobby with lounge seating, renovated elevator lobbies, upgraded lobby bathrooms, modernized entrances, and new landscaping.
Additionally, St. Pete Rising recently announced that City Center’s parking garage is expected to be demolished and redeveloped into the Waldorf Astoria Residences, a 49-story five-star hotel-branded luxury condominium tower.
Bean Wandering sources its beans from local roaster Look Alive Coffee and serves specialty iced coffees with flavors like brown sugar, mocha, cookie dough, and matcha lattes.
But if coffee is not your thing, they also offer non-coffee drinks such as their raspberry lemonade shaker, a blend of lemonade, raspberry syrup, coconut, ice, and a splash of lime.
The store menu will feature more lattes and energy drink-based drinks and teas.
As for food, Bean Wandering will primarily serve food from The Crumb Factory, an artisanal bakery in west St. Pete.

The menu will include a variety of toasts, such as avocado toast and toast with goat cheese drizzled with honey, pastries like croissants and banana bread, overnight oats, and heartier items such as sandwiches, protein bowls, and souffle quiches. Vegetarian and gluten-free options and easy grab-and-go meals will also be offered.
The shop will have indoor and outdoor seating facing Al Lang Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Rowdies professional soccer team.
Once the new café debuts in January, Bean Wandering's shop will be open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The couple will continue to operate the mobile coffee cart to cater events.
