An authentic Turkish restaurant serving chargrilled chicken kebap, fresh babaganoush, and slow-braised lamb shank is coming to Central Avenue this winter.
Bosphorous, which refers to the body of water that lies in the center of Istanbul and connects Europe to Asia, will take over a portion of the ground floor of the former Furnish Me Vintage building across the street from Hawkers Asian Street Food.
The building, located at 1246 Central Avenue, is part of a larger mixed-use development known as the EDGE Collective being brought to life by Miami-based PTM Partners and DoveHill Capital Management. Anchoring the project is a 163-key Moxy Hotel by Marriott, which is slated to open in June.
This month’s edition of Aerial St. Pete shows the progress on several real estate developments throughout St. Petersburg, FL. Aerial St. Pete is a column by St. Pete Rising which features exclusive aerial photography of projects under construction in St. Pete. To accomplish this, we have teamed up with AB3 Visuals.

A mixed-use development planned for downtown St. Pete’s EDGE District is moving forward and will break ground later this month after landing a $42 million construction loan from Forbright Bank.
The project, known as the Edge Collective, is a joint venture between Miami-based PTM Partners (PTM) and Fort Lauderdale-based and DoveHill Capital Management.
“We are excited to partner with Forbright Bank and break ground on a true mixed-use development that will complement the EDGE District’s abundant energy and become a destination experience,” says Scott Meyer, Chief Financial Officer of PTM Partners.

The Edge Collective will be built on a 1.6-acre site at 1234-1246 Central Avenue that PTM purchased in October 2019 for $13 million. The parcel is currently home to the EDGE Collective Urban Market Place, a temporary market that opened in 2021 just before the Super Bowl.
A mixed-use development is coming soon to the EDGE District courtesy of Miami’s PTM Partners. The project, known as The EDGE Collective, sits on a 1.5-acre site currently home to the 4-story Furnish Me Vintage building and a surface parking lot.
Located at 1246 Central Avenue, The EDGE Collective further cements the EDGE District of Downtown St Pete as one of the most desirable up-and-coming neighborhoods in the Tampa Bay area. The Edge Collective will be anchored by a Marriott Moxy Hotel and include a co-working space operated by St. Petersburg-based Station House; a European-inspired, full-service food hall managed by the team behind the Hall on Franklin in Tampa; a midblock paseo with unique experiential features; a 7,000-square-foot outdoor garden; and 4,500 square feet of dedicated retail space.
The new Moxy Hotel by Marriott, St. Pete’s first lifestyle hotel that has been under construction in the EDGE District since 2022, is now ready to welcome guests.
Miami-based PTM Partners, the group behind the EDGE Collective development in downtown St. Pete, and joint venture partner DoveHill Capital Management have officially opened the 163-key hotel at 1234 Central Avenue.
“This is a one-of-a-kind lifestyle hotel that not only works within St. Pete’s local traditions and culture but also adds to the neighborhood,” said PTM Partners COO Nick Pantuliano.
