Reservations for 46-story condo tower at 400 Central Avenue surpass $150 million
/Reservations for the luxury condominiums at The Residences at 400 Central are exceeding expectations in the first 90 days since sales launch.
The 515-foot tower, which is under construction at 400 Central Avenue in downtown St. Pete, has surpassed $150 million in sales. The 46-story tower is expected to become the tallest residential building on Florida’s Gulf Coast and will contain 301 condominium units ranging from 1,277 to 5,600 square feet.
Condominiums at The Residences at 400 Central will feature one to four-bedroom units with 10-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, spa-style bathrooms, and a gourmet kitchen with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and European style cabinetry.
The $400 million project is being developed by New York-based Red Apple Group, which is led by John Catsimatidis. Miami-based Arquitectonica designed the building.
“St. Petersburg is a special place, and we are delighted to be developing this high-quality project in a community where our family has had roots for more than 30 years,” says Catsimatidis. “To have so many buyers respond so well, and so quickly, has far exceeded our expectations.”
Michael Saunders & Company is the exclusive sales and marketing agent for The Residences at 400 Central. In October, the firm opened a state-of-the-art sales gallery at 465 Central Avenue.
“The last few months have seen a whirlwind of interest in this exceptional residential tower,” says Michael Saunders, founder of the Michael Saunders & Company realty firm. “Downtown St. Petersburg is attracting interest from across Florida and across the country. Our sales team has done a tremendous job introducing buyers to the community.”
Saunders expects to begin converting the building’s reservations to contract in early February.
Amenities in the building will include an expansive seventh floor deck featuring over 12,900 square feet of indoor and 23,100 square feet of outdoor private residential amenities. The deck will include a tropical resort-style pool, dog walking area, outdoor kitchens and dining areas, and a professional-grade fitness and wellness center. The building will also have an exclusive 46th floor Sky Lounge Observatory offering panoramic views of Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
In addition to condominium units, the building will include over 25,000 square feet of ground floor retail and 45,000 square feet of Class A office space.
Construction on supporting infrastructure and site preparations on the building’s foundation are underway. Completion of The Residences at 400 Central in St. Petersburg, FL is expected in 2024.
