40-unit condominium Domus Urbana tops out in downtown St. Pete
/Only five months after breaking ground, Domus Urbana has topped out. The new 40-unit mid-rise condominium is coming soon to 644 3rd Avenue South in Downtown St. Petersburg.
Domus Urbana is the latest development from NJR Companies, which developed the 20-unit Regent Lane Townhomes near Beach Drive in 2018.
The five-story building will feature four floors of residential space on top of ground floor vehicular parking, bike parking, lobby, and fitness center. The community will also include a dog park.
Domus Urbana will have two and three-bedroom residential units ranging from 1,158 to 1,650 square feet. Each will have stainless steel appliances, solid wood shaker cabinets, quartz countertops, 8-foot windows, 9-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, and at least one balcony.
As of this week, the roof has been installed and the building is expected to be dried in by the beginning of April.
St Pete Rising announced Domus Urbana in the summer of 2020. The community sold out 16 months later. NJR purchased the half-acre lot in February 2019 for $2.3 million.
“We’re proud to be able to share the news that we’ve already topped out on this project,” said Neil J. Rauenhorst, President, and CEO of the NJR Companies. “We’ve worked hard to stick to this aggressive schedule, and we’re excited to be able to welcome residents to their new homes later this year.”
As a result of Domus Urbana’s sold-out success, the developer recently announced Castille Urbana, which will be located on the same block as Domus Urbana at 600 3rd Avenue South.
Sales for Castille Urbana launched in December and over 50% of units are already reserved. For more information and to reserve a unit, visit CastilleUrbana.com.
Domus Urbana is on track for completion by this fall and Castille Urbana is expected to break ground this summer.
