A stylish new steakhouse has opened in North St. Pete.

The Blu Halo officially debuted on Monday June 30th at 221 Main Street North on the ground floor of Park & Main, a new 17-story luxury apartment tower at the growing Echelon City Center development in the Carillon Office Park.

Originally founded in Tallahassee, The Blu Halo is a steakhouse and martini bar known for its modern take on classic American fare.

The team behind The Blu Halo chose St. Pete for its second location due to the city’s growing reputation as a dining destination. In April, the Michelin Guide recognized three restaurants in St. Pete.

The Blu Halo’s menu highlights premium cuts of steak, such as a filet, top sirloin, and ribeye, alongside seafood dishes like a Harissa Salmon ($43) served with cous cous, yogurt, and lemon.

Another standout is the Blu Halo Chop ($32), a bone-in pork chop with blueberry chutney, goat cheese, and smashed red potatoes.

Diners will also find a variety of seasonal specials, appetizers, and sides.

The Smoked Meatball Pomodoro ($19) features San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, and garlic breadcrumbs. The Pan Fried Burrata ($15) contains golden tomato, basil, and lavash.

Sides include broccoli, truffle fries, cream corn, mushrooms, and more.

A full bar serves a menu of five creative cocktails and five martinis. St. Pete Dreams ($14) contains Three Olive Vodka, lime juice, pineapple juice, coconut puree, passionfruit puree, and orgeat syrup. The Citrus Rose Martini consists of Empress Cucumber Lemon Gin, Gallo Dry Vermouth, rose syrup, and lime juice.

There's also a bottled and canned beer as well as a curated wine list.

The restaurant itself features a large dining room and bar with seating for more than 60 guests, along with room for private events.
