Largo shopping center sells

A retail center with multiple active tenants in Largo has sold for $5.6 million.

The Central Park Plaza at 1350 Missouri Avenue North, owned by Kenneth and Katherine "Kitty" Weiss, was sold to Central Park Largo LLC.

The buying entity is connected to New York-based Fortune Commercial Management LLC, which took out a $3.713 million loan from Southstate Bank.

The tenants in the shopping center include Family Dollar, NAPA Auto and Truck Parts, AMA Medical Group, Rent-A-Car, a Chinese buffet restaurant, a laundromat, a smoke shop, and other businesses in a busy retail corridor.

Renovated Historic Old Northeast home sells

A fully remodeled home in the Historic Old Northeast neighborhood that blends modern updates with classic charm has sold for just over $2 million.

The 2,969-square-foot, four-bedroom home at 1001 Bay Street NE was built in 1925.

The extensive renovations include new impact windows, new bathrooms, a new kitchen, reconfigured interiors, new plantation shutters, a new privacy fence, and all the mechanical updates, according to the listing.

The kitchen has quartz counters, a large island with seating and a waterfall edge, a wine fridge, and other features. The main floor houses an in-law suite with an optional private entrance.

The home has a one-car garage and an attached storage room. Above the garage, there's a full accessory dwelling unit (ADU) featuring an open living/dining/kitchen space, a full bathroom, a bedroom, and an in-unit stack washer/dryer.

Retail spaces listed for lease at John's Pass Village

Multiple retail and restaurant spaces have been listed for lease at John's Pass Village at 111 Boardwalk Place on Madeira Beach.

The existing tenants are Hooters, Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Delosa's Pizza and Restaurant, Kohr Family Frozen Custard, Mad Beach Pub Craft Brewing, and Dick’s Last Resort, which recently took over a 3,000-square-foot space that was previously occupied by John’s Pass Grille.

There are four suites available ranging from 650 to 2,516 square feet, according to the listing. The previous tenants include DD Collectables and Yogurt City.

Broker Corinna Gattasso, Vice President of RIPCO Real Estate's Tampa office is representing the building owner, local real estate tycoon Ben Mallah.

He has owned the Madeira Beach property since 2019.

Guests can enjoy an open bar from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. and a complimentary champagne toast to ring in the new year. Juno & The Peacock: The new restaurant on Beach Drive will celebrate the new year with a special tasting menu, a caviar hour, optional wine pairing, a four-course dinner (with vegetarian options), and a complimentary Taittinger champagne toast. There will also be live music. The dinner at Juno is priced at $175 per person. Nextdoor, Juno's Pluma Cocktail Lounge will start its party at 5 p.m. with prices starting at $50. COCKtail: The LGBTQ+ nightclub will celebrate the special occasion with the iconic NYC nightclub Studio 54 theming. "This extravagant evening promises an immersive trip back to the glamour of disco, satin, and sparkle," according to the event page. The original Studio 54 DJ Robbie Leslie and Studio 54 singer France Joli will perform. VIP packages are available and range from $25 to $800. More information can be found here.

The Vinoy: The historic waterfront hotel will host an elegant celebration with a dinner featuring multiple dining and carving stations, a seafood raw bar, and a kids' station, as well as a champagne and specialty cocktail bar. There will be a live band performance and guests can view the city's fireworks display from the Bayview Terrace. The event will run from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Reservations are required. Adults can join the party for $360 while kids (ages 3-12) can enter for $125.
