Go Greek Yogurt to open at Sundial in downtown St. Pete this summer

Go Greek Yogurt offers flavors like Plain Tart, Greek Honey, and Chocolate, along with rotating seasonal selections such as guava, passion fruit, mango, strawberry, rose, and hazelnut | Go Greek Yogurt

Go Greek Yogurt is bringing its European-style yogurt concept to downtown St. Pete this summer.

The California-based brand will open its first Tampa Bay location in July on the ground floor of the Sundial shopping center at 153 2nd Avenue North, next to Jackie Z Style Co.

The St. Pete café follows the company’s recent expansion into Florida with two Miami locations that opened last year.

Founded in 2012 by David Subotic, Tanja Subotic and Jonathan Williams, Go Greek Yogurt was created with a simple mission: introduce authentic, European-style Greek yogurt to the American market.

Unlike traditional frozen yogurt shops that lean heavily on sugary flavors, Go Greek Yogurt focuses on strained Greek yogurt that is high in protein and probiotics, offering what the company describes as a more wholesome indulgence.

Guests can order their yogurt classic or frozen, starting with flavors like Plain Tart, Greek Honey, and Chocolate, along with rotating seasonal selections such as guava, passion fruit, mango, strawberry, rose, and hazelnut.

From there, customers build their own bowls at a self-serve toppings bar stocked with granola, fresh fruit, shaved chocolate, toasted coconut, chocolate chips, flax seeds, and hemp seeds.

Pricing is by weight, starting at $1.35 per ounce.

Pre-designed creations are also available, including the Althea Bowl, which layers Greek yogurt with strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, goji berries, shaved chocolate, and a drizzle of Greek honey.

Another popular selection is the Energia, which contains strawberries, banana, blueberries, hemp seeds, almonds, granola, chia seed, and Greek honey on top of Greek yogurt.

The yogurt also serves as the base for smoothies and blended drinks.

Options include the GoGreek Cino, which combines chocolate and espresso with frozen yogurt, and the YoGo Matcha, made with matcha and Plain Tart frozen yogurt.

Beyond sweet offerings, the menu includes savory selections like a Greek Salad bowl featuring Persian cucumbers, grape tomatoes, Kalamata olives, olive oil, oregano, Himalayan salt, and cracked black pepper.

When it opens in St. Pete, Go Greek Yogurt will join a growing lineup of new tenants at the reimagined Sundial, including Side Splitters Comedy Club and Forbici Modern Italian, both slated to debut by summer.
